Overview

A Vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Ultra Cloud Core-Subscriber Microservices Infrastructure (SMI) software which could allow an attacker to escalate privileges on an affected device.

Description

This Vulnerability exists in the Common Execution Environment (CEE) ConfD CLI of Cisco Ultra Cloud Core – Subscriber Microservices Infrastructure (SMI) software due to insufficient access control in the affected CLI that could allow the attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating as a CEE Conf D CLI user and executing a specific CLI command.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to access privileged containers with root privileges.
